Potable Water
The families of the Maria da Paz settlement, located in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, struggled with the difficulties derived from lack of access to clean water.
The photovoltaic desalinator – which desalinates seawater using electricity generated by the sun – benefits more than 200 people. Before having the project, the community had to consume the water collected from rain or buy drinking water.
