Lack of knowledge

Only three out of 10 Brazilians know they can generate their own energy and save on electricity bills. This result was brought by a survey conducted by Market Analysis along with Greenpeace. Despite the lack of knowledge, almost 90% of the people interviewed claimed to have interest in knowing more about microgeneration and consider the production of their own energy to be something important. In addition, the majority of the people (9 out of 10) said it would adopt residential energy systems if they had credit lines with low interest rates.
